What can Fund Teller tell?
|

As we all know, Price on mutual fund is different from stock.
When you place your order, or redeem your shares, you don't know the price until the NAV is calculated after the major U.S. exchanges close.
Fund Teller will tell you the "real time" price for any fund based on its top 10 holdings real time quotes in stock market.
Since it only calculates the top 10, so, the bigger percent the top 10 holdings are in the total fund asset, the more accurate Fund Teller can tell.
Of course it won't be 100% accurate since the fund manager may buy or sell in the same time, and sometimes, it may be way off. But for most funds, it can give you a basic idea.
